*If you are a new client, please book a free 30-minute inquiry call/intake. This will allow us to get to know you better and find the therapist who will be the best fit for your needs. Even if you are hoping to work with a specific therapist, please respect this process so that we can help keep our therapists’ scheduleds balnaced and leave enough room for ongoing clients.

  • If you book an appointment without completing an intake your appointment may be cancelled or replaced with an intake appointment.
  • Please note that we ARE able to offer unscheduled inquiry calls, possibly sooner than the earliest available listed here. If you would like a consult sooner, Feel free to book the first available session here, and then call or text 780-809-0809 to request a first-available session. An intake therapist will call you at their earliest availability.
  • You can also fill out an online intake if you prefer!

Returning Clients

Please feel free to book a session with your therapist by clicking on their name and selecting a spot that works for you. If you are not seeing any spots that work for you, we may be able to make some slight changes. Please [give our admin a call at 780-809-0809 if you need help with booking! - Amy’s session rates will be increasing to $300 / 50 minutes on March 1, 2024 for current ongoing clients. The new fee will apply immediately for new clients or clients who haven’t booked in more than 6 months. If you already have a sliding scale rate, your current discount will be automatically applied, and if you have any questions about this change, please chat with Amy during your session.

Affordable Counselling Program

The Affordable Counselling Program is overseen by our Clinical Director, Amy Nydam, and services are provided by Mental Health Therapy Interns, who are pre-licensed therapists finishing their practicum for a Masters degree in Counselling.

This program is for folks who have limited income and/or no insurance. If you have insurance, this service may not be covered.

Much of my experience has been in supporting men struggling with their mental health and with people who have been subjected to acts of sexual violence. I also enjoy providing relationship counselling to couples, including people who engage in all forms ethical non-monogamy. I love love love working with individuals, couples, and families where mental health struggles, trauma, neurodiversity, non-monogamy, queer identities, and other factors bring both strengths and complications to the relationships. I also have specific interest in working with folks who have experienced religious trauma or who have left cults or other high-demand environments.

I keep busy outside of work spending time with my partner and three kiddos and our cat Jasper (who regularly visits the office!). We love skating and skiing in the winter and camping in national parks in the summer. I am also always trying to find the balance between knitting as a hobby and knitting as an obsession.
