Book an Appointment
New Clients
If you are a new client, please book a FREE 30-minute Intake with one of our Intake Clinicians. This will allow us to get to know you better and find the clinician who will be the best fit for your needs. Even if you are hoping to work with a specific therapist, please respect this process so that we can help keep our therapists’ schedules balanced and leave enough room for ongoing clients.
- If you book an appointment without completing an Intake your appointment may be cancelled or replaced with an Intake appointment.
- You can also fill out an online intake if you prefer!
Please give our Administrative Assistant a call at 780-809-0809 if you need help with booking!

New Client Intake
Any client who hasn't attended a therapy session here before--or previous clients who haven't seen their clinician in 12 months or longer--are required to complete an Intake before scheduling a session with one of our clinicians. This is a 20-30 minute Intake call that takes place over the phone (PLEASE NOTE: it is NOT an in-person or virtual appointment).
If there are no times that will work for you, you can put yourself on the waitlist for this service or email us (hello@yegfamilycounselling.com) to let us know. One of our Intake Workers will call you when they have an opening in their schedule (usually within a few days). Alternatively, you can also go to our website (yegfamilycounselling.com) and complete our Online Intake Form.
We are looking forward to meeting you!
Individual Therapy
Our clinicians are supportive of all types of families and relationships, and work extensively with people of all backgrounds, particularly queer and neurodivergent folks. They practice attachment-based therapy that emphasizes the importance of identifying our emotions and paying attention to our bodies. While our clinicians share this common foundation, many of them also have specific modalities they are trained in and most comfortable using. Read more about each of them by clicking on their photo on the right!
